I use Google’s Chrome browser for lightening fast browsing and searches. I find Internet Explorer painfully slow. With Chrome, the browser starts guessing the URL when I type the first letter and the accuracy is exceptionally strong. To go to Facebook, I just type ‘F’ and the ‘enter’ and it knows that I want to go to Facebook. You can download Chrome here. If you already use Chrome, I have a tip for even faster searches. Here’s all you need to do:
1. Click the little wrench icon in the upper right corner of your browser
2. Click “Settings”
3. Under “Search”, click the box that Enables Instant for faster searching.
That’s it! Now when you type something in the Omnibox (the place where you type web addresses), it loads the page that it thinks you are looking for as you type. Try it out and let me know what you think in the comments section below.
